Château Coussin Sainte Victoire is a very old wine-producing estate, located at the foot of the Sainte Victoire Mountain, whose vineyards are considered to be among the oldest in France.

At the time of the roman General Marius, the estate was crossed by the via Aurélia which went all the way to Rome and was already very well known when Marius stopped the barbarian invaders in 102 BC.

Walls of pink stone and the tiled roofs of the farmhouses surround the vineyards with the same backdrop that so delighted Cezanne: the Sainte Victoire Mountain and that special light.

The estate owes its name to Jean-Baptiste COUSSIN who was a lawyer at the Court of Aix en Provence in the 18th century. Today, it is owned by his descendants, the Sumeire family.
