Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2004 a sélectionné :

  • CHÂTEAU COUSSIN SAINTE VICTOIRE
    Cuvée César rouge 2001

This ultra-premium cuvée, the result of a selection of syrah, mourvèdre and grenache grapes, is well rendred in it’s type. May the original case fashioned by the sculptor César, a detail of which is featured on the neck label, not in itself retain all of your attention. For the body of this wine, dark, with a purple halo is no less beautiful. For the bouquet harmonizing toasty notes, cocoa and brioche is without restraint. For the tannins, dense with a powerful structure have a caramelised fruit and chocolate finish. In a year or two the pleasure will be grand.

  • DOMAINES ELIE SUMEIRE
Réserve de la Famille Rosé 2002

With it's nice label illustrating the Sainte Victoire Mountain painted by Cezanne, this wine obtains a one star raiting.

  • CHÂTEAU COUSSIN SAINTE VICTOIRE
    Rouge 1999 -  84 /100

Deep red in color with a nose of sweet morello cherries and ripe plums. Overall this wine is round and rather powerful. A wine with character who delivers Mediterranean aromas such as, prunes, figs, blackberries and spice.

  • CHÂTEAU L'AFRIQUE
     Rosé 2001 - 84/100

Salmon pink in color with a citrus fruit nose. Crisp and fresh we appreciate its’ balance and its’Fullness. The aromas are pure and long lasting.
